Game Notes 9/16 (G3, S13)
Awesome game today Boys! Seemed like two heavy weight boxers going toe to toe. @David Harper started things off with a nifty tip in front to put Blue ahead. Teams traded goals a few times and were locked 3-3 at the break.
Seemed like every time White tied it, Blue would have a quick answer to go up by another goal. @Larry Laurinatis with a couple of goals to lead Blue, while @Mike Farrell and @Bill Gaines each had two for White. Down by two late, White got one at 4 mins and then again under two mins to knot it at 7. Couple of chances at the end, but a fitting tie, 7-7 final.
Congrats to Player of the Game @Ben Chapman for leading his team on the back line, assisting on three tallies and getting a timely one of his own late in the second.
